Well, there's only one program that I know of that makes that possible: 3d Flash Animator.

http://www.3dfa.com/

You can create flash games with little or no coding using Flash Animator. It even supports 3d objects and all kinds of effects that would be very hard to recreate in Flash without some third-party tool!

It's also damn inexpensive: only $49. Download the trial %26amp; see if you like it.

Just catch up to the rest of the world and get Facebook. It's safe and better and automatically hides your profile to everyone who isn't your friend.

Design your website first or do the coding first?

Hi, i'm intending to start learning designing website during my sem break. I seen quite alot of beautifully-designed website and was wondering whether the designer of these website actually deal with coding or design of the website first ? I would be using CSS for the coding btw.Design your website first or do the coding first?
You need to do the design first.

Good luck. Cheers :-)Design your website first or do the coding first?
Since you say you're just trying to learn, try putting together a very small, simple site with a very small, simple program creating some dynamic content for it. That way you'll quickly see that you're learning something.

Then make small improvements to the site design or the programming side as you learn new topics.
Always always do the design first,be on paint or paper. never start coding with nothing to aim at!
You definently want to design it first so you know what your working with and what you can do as a coder, so when it comes to coding the website its a breze and you know what to do, if you code first then your website probably wont turn out like you want it to.
    definitely the design first.

you want to know what it looks like before you start trying to actually place the code on the site.
    Design comes first.

and coding is done to an already decided design
    Design always goes before implementation.
It is an iterative procedure first design part of it, code it and see how it looks, ask for people's feedback and modify design and code.
Definitely design first, as that way you'd at least know what you are coding. If you were to code first (and I've seen this happen in the past), you'd just end up with a very messy-looking page, or an eclectic collection of various design elements.

Actually deciding how you want the end-product to look will help you actually get something that looks good, rather than ';Ooh, wouldn't it be nice if I put this here'; in the middle of coding.
The first thing you to is to identify what kind of website you want to design. Identify your target audience and what is your goal in designing your site. If you are looking for a design , you need to research your competitor site. If you know it, then create a prototype (or the layout of your website including the navigation, colors, background), then design using adobe photoshop and dreamweaver. If you are using dreamweaver, you can add dynamic links such using css.

Remove Coding that makes games run with cd's so I can use them without?

I am going to get a terabyte external hardrive and install all my games to it...I want to remove the codes so that I can play the games without the cd's, which will allow me to just hook the hardrive up, click and play a game...where would I find the code and how do I remove it?Remove Coding that makes games run with cd's so I can use them without?
You need a program such as Alcohol 120%. It basicaly puts the disk into whats know as an ISO file then u can play the game off that. Makes them sooo much faster. Theres no other way to remove apart from to use one of these programs I think a free version not as good in my opinion is called Deamon tools. Hope that helps.

Myspace coding just shows up in About Me section?

I'm trying to redo the coding on my Myspace, so I erased all my code and had a blank Myspace. But now, no matter what code I enter in my About Me section of the profile editor, when I view my profile the code just shows up as text in the About Me section instead of actually working. Does that make sense?

To clarify: If I put the code for a background image, instead of it working and giving my Myspace the desired background, the code just shows up in my About Me section.

What should I do?Myspace coding just shows up in About Me section?
i think your not copying the code right!

when you are like copying it you skip part of the codeMyspace coding just shows up in About Me section?
First, delete any layout codes in your about me section. Before you view your profile make sure you save all changes!

    Next

    1. Log in to your MySpace profile and click on the Edit Profile link.

    2. On the right hand side of the page you will see View My Profile, Account Settings, and Profile Editor. Click on the Profile Editor link.

    3. Once you are in Profile Editor, click on Theme Library.

    4. A theme titled, No Style will appear. Click on that link to remove all code for that section. Remember, this will wipe out all of the existing code (No worries, it won't wipe out your friends, comments, etc..., just the layout for the section you are trying to update).

    5. To complete the removal of the existing code, click Save and Publish.

After completing these steps, the page will default to the original MySpace layout with the white, blue and orange page. To update your code click on the Home link and enter the new code into the section you are updating.

I had this same problem and this fixed it.

try and go to a website instead of the profile editer try...

How do you put the HTML coding onto a web page to preview a picture in a defined area?

I want to put a bunch of thumbnails on my webpage and when the user clicks them, they open up in the window on that same page like hotel room pictures. Here is an example:

Hi, that page is a flash design, VERY difficult to do if you dont know flash, I would look into a javescript based program that will do something close what you looking for, they have alot of free ones available out there if you search for javascript picture viewer, the top links to a paid one ($25) that might make it easier, the others are a couple of free software sites. Good luck, you can do ALOT of things with java on a website

I'm an idiot who is coding SQL in an old Access Database?

Ok, I know this isn't high on the priority of the typical nerd's ';Problems to Solve'; list, but I'm dicking around with SQL in an old version of MS Access, and I want to know something. I've got the following query:

    SELECT

    user_idx,

    ( SELECT COUNT(*) FROM picks

    WHERE pick = 1 and home_score %26gt; away_score

    OR pick = 0 and away_score %26gt; home_score )

    AS wins

    FROM users

    ORDER BY wins

...and it doesn't work. Instead of taking the value of the calculated field [wins] and using it to sort the results, it pops up an input box and asks me what the value of [wins] is! WTF? Is there some arcane notation I'm missing?

P.S. Don't tell me to get PostGreSQL or MySql. I'd love to. But this is for a hobby website, and my FREE hosting service doesn't support those!I'm an idiot who is coding SQL in an old Access Database?
I am guessing that the calculcated wins column is out of scope for the order-by clause. I would try this:

    select * from (

    SELECT

    user_idx,

    ( SELECT COUNT(*) FROM picks

    WHERE pick = 1 and home_score %26gt; away_score

    OR pick = 0 and away_score %26gt; home_score )

    AS wins

    FROM users

    )

    ORDER BY wins

    Good luck!

Ok, second try. Not sure if your version SQL supports case statements, so this is not as clean as possible, but...

    SELECT

    user_idx, wins

    FROM users

    inner join

( SELECT user_idx, COUNT(*) as wins FROM picks

    WHERE pick = 1 and home_score %26gt; away_score

    OR pick = 0 and away_score %26gt; home_score

    group by user_idx

    ) as pick on users.user_idx = pick.user_idx

    ORDER BY wins

Third try! [this is a tough way to debug code!]

    SELECT

    user_idx, wins

    FROM users

    inner join

( SELECT user_idx, COUNT(*) as wins FROM picks

    WHERE pick = 1 and home_score %26gt; away_score

    OR pick = 0 and away_score %26gt; home_score

    group by user_idx

    ) pick on users.user_idx = pick.user_idx

ORDER BY winsI'm an idiot who is coding SQL in an old Access Database?
I'm not an sql programmer as such, but the syntax seems very similar to mysql, which is based on it.

It looks to me as if there are a couple of potential problems. First, I think you need to bracket the where statement a bit, to make it less ambiguous:

    WHERE (pick=1 AND home_score%26gt;away_score) OR (pick=0 AND away_score%26gt;home_score)

Second, I don't know if it's the same, but in mysql, it would be in this order:

SELECT user_idx from users, COUNT(*) from picks WHERE (pick=1 AND home_score%26gt;away_score) OR (pick=0 AND away_score%26gt;home_score) AS wins ORDER BY wins

still not sure it will do what you are expecting though.

PS. Surely some free host somewhere must provide MySQL, i mean it IS open source.
