Thank you for your time.I am searching for an part-time entry level medical billing and coding opportunity.?
Please be careful with those so-called 'online jobs' as many, if not all, are a hoax especially when they ask for money upfront. Just on here and other message boards, it seems that there are not that many jobs available for medical billing and/or coding, and with the coding, most employers would like 1-2 years experience doing some coding along with certification(s) as a coder.I am searching for an part-time entry level medical billing and coding opportunity.?
If you have the medical coding and billing education, they consider you experienced. But you have to actually take the classes. It's a lot more involved than you might think and you have to go to take new classes all the time as things in the medical field are constantly changing. I recommend medical transcription, you can take these classes online and be done in a few month's time if you're diligent. Good luck!
